Napoli really needs every point to at least defend the last European Cup place still accessible to the southern Italians from the strong team of Fiorentina. Bologna has only lost one Serie A game against Inter since mid-January and has been able to pick up points since then. However, the draws are increasing, as four of the last five Serie A appearances ended in points split, and in three of them no goals were scored at all. Napoli, on the other hand, needs points at all costs, but Bologna is known for not letting anything go for long periods of the game with its strong defense. After Inter no club in the league has conceded fewer goals than Bologna. Both sides need points, but Bologna could undoubtedly live better with a draw. Napoli will have more time in possession, but the guests will also have significantly more chances in counter-attacks. The home team will probably let the ball run again, but without posing a real threat to score, at least not to an extent that can seriously embarrass the Rossoblu's backline. As in the first half of the season, the game could easily finissh 0-0 on the half--time.
